 Dear Yellow Room Families-

We started out our week with a very special continuation of our Tu B'Shvat holiday. We planted our school garden. The children were fully engaged as our friend, Nina, guided them on how to till the soil, organize the plants, dig the holes, and plant the seeds. Our Writers were also in charge of creating the garden labels. Each Yellow Room Friend wrote out a label for the different varieties of plants that we put into our garden. They used their phonics skills to sound out words like broccoli, lettuce, dill, and oregano. Some friends even noticed that they could copy the letters from the tags on their plants!

Thank you again for your ability to transition with us to Zoom Kindergarten this week. We were able to enjoy our time together very much! We discussed the parsha as well as read stories together and held important discussions. It goes to show that we can do hard things together! We look forward to seeing each of our friends again soon!

Shabbat Shalom,

Morah Perline & Morah Devora
